Bird Mobile..

I got this wonderful idea from Spool Sewing Blog.

I pretty much just copied what they did. However, it turned out a bit different….

The balancing act was difficult and was taken over by my husband, who did a wonderful job.

This bird mobile is going to my brother and his wife who live on a farm

with three horses, two dogs, two cats, fish, chickens, roosters, goats and many other little critters.

These birds will be a beautiful addition to their home.

Hi everyone. I have been working on this purse all week and finished it today.

To be honest, I am very proud of this one.

However, my first purse that i posted was traded on Etsy.com by Jak Random Art.

But, this next one…well, Absolutely Adorable!!!

Deserves bragging rights, if I don’t say so myself.

Cute, isn’t it?

I sewed these orange flower beads on to make feet and a plastic canvas for strength.

Watch Me Grow – Part 2 – My Etsy Shop Handmade Crafts

Okay, I know it’s been awhile since my first “Krista’s Kreations – Watch Me Grow” blog entry….a week or so….

….I have been taking care of a sick household and myself…+ sewing, knitting and crafting….

I have just started this “crafty” thing and was motivated by Etsy.com. Last month, I receive a sewing machine from my mom for my birthday!

I started sewing, knitting and making flower hair clips just about a month ago. My first knitting project was a knitted pocket purse, which I gave away to a friend and I have made a few flower hair clips that I listed on my Etsy.com shop.

However, today I finished three projects:

The Zipper Handbag – Purse

it even has feet

and a zipper tail…

AND, two pockets….

Pretty good, hau? I patted myself on the back for it.

This purse was my second attempt at sewing….

I also made another pocket purse, but this one is a bit bigger than the last….it fits my camera….the camera that my husband bought me for my birthday this month!!! Thank you, honey….

As you can see, I have been keeping myself busy.

It’s the coolest shopping website online, IT’S ALL HANDMADE…

Its kinda like Ebay, but NO AUCTIONS…just a STORE…YOUR STORE..or in my case, MY STORE.

20 cent listing fee…WAIT!!! there’s a catch..

You have to make the items youself… HANDMADE GOODS…..CRAFTS…ANYTHING YOU WANT…Truly?

Etsy has motivated me to make stuff…..

be creative…..

I just received a new sewing machine –  (thanks to my mom – a birthday gift) 🙂   Love her…

I have made one over-the-shoulder bag with some material and pattern that my mom let me have. : )

I sewed the strap on wrong after my husband spend about an hour reversing the fabric for me. He is my Hero….learned many mistakes on that project, but only to make a better one next time…. For my first project, not bad…

I have also spent time the my knitting needles. Re-learning how to knit. I don’t think I have ever finished a knitting project until about a week ago.

My First Pocket Purse…

This pocket purse got sent to a friend Sarah, in Germany, with a piece of jewelry I made for her too.

My creative juices are flowing…
